Good Morning lovely people. :)
My hope is that you all are waking up, enjoying a beautiful cup of coffee (or whatever morning routine gets you energized!), and getting ready to embark on the beautiful day upon you with zeal and joy. In fact, my hope for all of you and myself is to wake up like that every morning. But, being the humans that we are, sometimes that's simply not the case. I'm realizing this post has gone from sunny to slightly depressing over the course of a few sentences, but stay with me! ;)
I mention the fact that we are all human simply to relate to each and every one of you. Every day holds something different. Different moments...different joys, different heartaches, different comedies, different pains. Each one of these different factors leave you feeling a certain way at the end of the day, sometimes even pouring themselves into the way you feel when you wake up the next day. All of us have had mornings where we've woken up feeling broken, defeated, weary...I ask you right now to think of those mornings in your mind and hold them there for a moment...maybe this morning was one of those mornings for you...ok, now think of those mornings, the ones that you've had that you wish never ended, when you woke up with a smile on your face, so radiant, that you know you could take on anything the day threw at you. Since I can't speak face to face with you all, I'll share my personal experience and let y'all comment if you'd like. :) Those mornings, the really good ones, have all come from making a choice. A choice to keep the past in the past and the future in the future. A choice to give it to Jesus and walk with a head held high, knowing that your confidence is in him, and you can do absolutely nothing to change or mess up the beautiful, intricate plan he's already set in motion for your life. Every day is a brand new day. A fresh start. So I encourage you today, friends, let go of your yesterdays, being grateful for what they taught you, and live today with joy and zest, seeking out the beautiful things God has set before you. You are LOVED.
Just a little song to encourage you all that has fiercely encouraged me. :)
