Happy Monday!
Emily Reeves Happy Monday everyone! :)
Goodness, I seriously can't believe the weekend's already over...weekends seem to always fly by so fast though! But, as fast as it flew, this weekend was a great one, an emotional one, but a great one :) For one, I was so blessed by a sweet group of high school girls who go to my church. I attended one of their 15th birthday parties on Friday night, and it was just so sweet to chat with them and see their precious hearts for the Lord and just meet with them where they're at...Jesus is just so good and definitely moving. :) This weekend was also wonderful, because I got to spend great time with my family, they are just amazing...I got to watch my little brother golf (I didn't know until Saturday morning how insanely good he is! :)), I got to watch my dad play incredible music and be such a Godly example for the people around him, I got to spend relaxing time with my mom watching Pride & Prejudice while having treasured conversations about life, and I got to spend hilarious, loving, sweet time with my grandparents over dinner...my heart is just so full, and it is Christ alone who has filled it :) But, as the weekend came to a close, the Lord had one more blessing in store...remember on Friday how I shared my favorite things with you? Well, you all were awesome and sent me some of your favorite things as well, and I LOVED reading/seeing them!!! Thank you so much for sharing them, PLEASE keep them coming! :) I wish I could re-post every single one! But, since I had to choose one favorite, I wanted to share this with you all, and I hope this blesses you as much as it blessed me. I got an e-mail from a precious daughter of the Lord, explaining to me that her husband works as an O.R. in the Air Force, her son-in-law is in the Air Force, and two of her three sons are in the Air Force...she also went on to say that her husband is leaving in late June for Korea for a year straight, and one of her pilot sons is getting deployed to Afghanistan in a matter of two weeks. Yet, in the midst of living a life where every next moment is so unknown, concerning the ones she loves the most, she still clings to the Lord, loving Him more than anything. This truly inspired my heart. Attached to her message, she sent a picture of her two beautiful grandchildren on Easter, and this brought tears to my eyes...this family is absolutely INCREDIBLE. So for my favorite of your favorites, here is the sweet photo...God is truly so good :) My heart is full, you all are dearly loved :)
